About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain backend applications and integrations between systems
- Participate in the development and maintenance of APIs and services
- Contribute to improvements in application architecture and performance
- Work on resolving technical issues and incidents
- Participate in agile methodology ceremonies
- Collaborate with development, architecture, and product teams
- Contribute to code quality and development best practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Required academic background
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields
- Postgraduate degree or MBA in Software Architecture, Data Engineering, or related areas is desirable
- Minimum of 2 years of software development experience
- Experience in medium to high complexity projects
- Experience with at least one of the following languages: Python, Node.js, Java
- Experience working in agile squads
- Experience or knowledge in languages and frameworks: Python (Flask or FastAPI), Node.js (Express or NestJS), Java (Spring Boot)
- Systems integration: RESTful APIs, webhooks, queues or messaging, service orchestration; experience with the Digibee platform
- Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes
- DevOps: CI/CD, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI
- Databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL
- Testing: automated tests with Pytest, JUnit, Mocha
