Key responsibilities & impact

Design and implement scalable backend systems using C# and .NET
Lead technical design for REST APIs and workflow-heavy services
Drive clean architecture and maintainable backend design across distributed microservices
Break down large workflows into reusable services and components
Review code, mentor engineers, and improve engineering standards
Ensure systems are resilient, transactional, and production-ready
Work closely with product managers and frontend engineers on API and workflow design

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years of backend engineering experience
Strong expertise in C# and .NET
Experience designing production-grade REST APIs and backend workflows
Strong understanding of clean architecture and separation of concerns
Deep experience with Entity Framework, SQL, and relational databases
Experience handling concurrency, idempotency, and transactional consistency
Experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms and distributed microservices architectures
Strong debugging, architecture, and problem-solving skills
Fluency in English
Nice to Have:
Experience in banking, fintech, CRM, or customer onboarding platforms
Experience with matching engines, orchestration workflows, or distributed systems
Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives
Fluency in Portuguese
