About the role

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD
  • Manage infrastructure on AWS and OCI with Terraform, ensuring standardization, versioning, and automation
  • Administer Kubernetes environments (Amazon EKS), using Docker and Kustomize to organize and standardize deployments
  • Implement and improve observability practices using tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana
  • Create dashboards and proactive alerts
  • Monitor critical metrics (latency, errors, throughput, and saturation)
  • Centralize and analyze logs
  • Support incident detection and resolution
  • Apply SRE principles to improve system reliability and stability
  • Define and track SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs
  • Create alerts based on error budgets and health metrics
  • Analyze incidents and conduct post-mortems
  • Implement resilience improvements (health checks, rollbacks, high availability)
  • Automate operational tasks and reduce toil

Requirements

  • Solid experience as a DevOps engineer in cloud-native environments
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code
  • Experience with SRE practices and monitoring tools such as Datadog
  • Proactive profile with autonomy and a focus on automation and reliability
  • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple teams
