About the role

  • Lead the development and implementation of advanced technical solutions for data acquisition, processing, and storage, aligned with business needs and strategies.
  • Define data layers and their respective uses, ensuring organization, governance, and scalability.
  • Prepare data for predictive and prescriptive modeling, ensuring quality and reliability for advanced analytics.
  • Develop algorithms for accessing, transforming, and manipulating raw data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Automate and optimize data flows and processes, promoting continuous improvements in performance and efficiency.
  • Gain a deep understanding of the organization's data and lead the strategy and implementation of the Data Lake environment.
  • Design and implement scalable, resilient, and efficient ETL/ELT processes to meet the business's analytical demands.
  • Manage data acquisition by identifying and evaluating relevant sources and implementing mechanisms to ensure data quality and relevance.
  • Ensure data is made available in the most efficient and business-aligned manner through dashboards, agents, and other analytical solutions.

Requirements

  • Degree in a technology-related field and relevant experience in databases and/or software development.
  • Extensive experience in data projects, programming, and building pipelines, with a focus on advanced and strategic solutions.
  • Broad knowledge of databases, Big Data ecosystems, and programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Strong experience developing complex data solutions using Databricks and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Advanced English proficiency for reading and understanding technical and reference materials.
  • Experience in technical leadership, with strong communication and collaboration skills in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Autonomous, proactive, delivery-oriented, and highly capable of critical analysis to handle complex challenges.
  • Experience leading teams, providing technical guidance and mentoring professionals.
  • Knowledge and practical experience with agile project management methodologies.
  • Experience using Power BI for data consumption and visualization.
