About the role

  • Develop, maintain and enhance dashboards and analytical reports using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service;
  • Design data models using dimensional modeling, prioritizing Star Schema;
  • Create, maintain and optimize measures and calculations in DAX, ensuring indicator consistency and performance;
  • Apply advanced DAX functions such as CALCULATE, FILTER, ALL, ALLEXCEPT, SUMX and use of VAR;
  • Implement Time Intelligence logic (YTD, MTD, rolling periods and period-over-period comparisons);
  • Perform ETL processes using Power Query (M), from basic to advanced transformations;
  • Integrate and prepare data from different sources and systems;
  • Ensure the quality, consistency and reliability of data and reported indicators;
  • Build decision-oriented dashboards focused on the business questions;
  • Apply best practices in data storytelling, UX and data visualization;
  • Publish, manage and maintain content in Power BI Service, following governance standards;
  • Manage workspaces, permissions, sharing and Apps;
  • Implement and maintain data security rules, including Row-Level Security (RLS).

Requirements

  • Solid experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service;
  • Knowledge of dimensional modeling, preferably using Star Schema;
  • Best practices in data storytelling and dashboard UX;
  • Intermediate/advanced proficiency in DAX, including: CALCULATE, FILTER, ALL, ALLEXCEPT, SUMX, VAR;
  • Understanding the difference between measures and calculated columns and Time Intelligence (YTD, MTD, rolling, period comparisons);
  • Strong knowledge of Power Query (M) for basic and advanced ETL;
  • Ability to build decision-oriented dashboards that deliver business value;
  • Intermediate SQL, with strong knowledge of joins and CTEs;
  • Experience integrating data from: relational databases; spreadsheets and files (Excel, CSV); services such as SharePoint and OneDrive;
  • Familiarity with data quality practices and indicator consistency;
  • Organized and detail-oriented;
  • Analytical mindset and critical thinking;
  • Good communication skills for interacting with business stakeholders;
  • Proactive in identifying improvements;
  • Value-driven and results-oriented.
