About the role

  • Work on the design and evolution of backend systems based on Java, considering distributed and scalable architectures
  • Develop and maintain microservices and event-driven solutions, ensuring decoupling and resilience
  • Actively participate in system design decisions, evaluating technical trade-offs and product impact
  • Create and evolve REST APIs and asynchronous integrations
  • Implement and maintain observability practices (logs, metrics and traces) to ensure reliability and rapid issue identification
  • Support scalability strategies, such as horizontal scaling of pods and infrastructure adjustments
  • Collaborate closely with product, frontend, QA and DevOps teams, maintaining clear and cooperative communication

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot
  • Knowledge of distributed systems design and microservices architecture
  • Experience with event-driven architectures (e.g., messaging, asynchronous events)
  • Experience developing and consuming REST APIs
  • Knowledge of observability, including logs, metrics and application monitoring
  • Practical understanding of scalability, such as scaling services/pods and basic infrastructure tuning
  • Good communication, collaboration and teamwork skills (soft skills)
  • Product-oriented mindset, understanding the technical impact on business rules and user experience
