About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act strategically in category management, ensuring efficiency, governance and value generation for the business.
Lead end-to-end Strategic Sourcing processes, including requisitions, market analysis, negotiation, contract drafting, purchase order issuance and supplier onboarding.
Partner with business areas and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment of needs and efficient process execution.
Develop and implement procurement strategies for indirect categories, focusing on cost reduction, risk mitigation and value creation.
Perform cost and opportunity analyses (Cost Breakdown, Spend Analysis, TCO and Opportunity Cost), identifying savings and operational efficiencies.
Lead competitive procurement processes (RFx), including scope definition, technical and commercial evaluation, negotiation and supplier recommendation.
Build relationships with the supplier market, conducting benchmarking and monitoring trends and innovations.
Monitor and analyze area performance indicators (KPIs), proposing action plans for continuous improvement.
Prepare executive materials, business cases, price comparison matrices, forecasts and management presentations with a focus on storytelling and decision support.
Ensure adherence to internal policies, governance practices, compliance and corporate controls.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics or related fields.
Postgraduate degree or MBA is a plus.
Proven experience in Indirect Procurement and Strategic Sourcing.
Experience with categories such as Logistics, Information Technology (IT) and Engineering.
Knowledge of financial analysis and cost management.
Strong negotiation skills and contract management.
Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
Experience with e-Procurement platforms and electronic marketplaces is a plus.
Advanced Excel.
