About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work on the analysis and execution of tax routines related to indirect taxes, ensuring the correct calculation of ICMS and IPI, compliance with tax reporting obligations and support for internal areas, ensuring conformity with current legislation.
Responsibilities: Perform ICMS and IPI calculations for all branches
Execute and review the delivery of tax reporting obligations, with a focus on SPED Fiscal and GIA-ST
Prepare accounting support for assessed taxes
Issue and record provisions for tax payment guides
Perform fiscal cross-checks to ensure the quality of information
Monitor tax ledger balances and tax cash flow
Handle audits, notifications and DTE
Support external audits
Assist with tax projects and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Law, Economics or related fields
Qualifications: Solid experience in indirect taxes
Proficiency in SPED Fiscal / ICMS
Advanced knowledge of MasterSaf (TaxOne)
Knowledge of GIA-ST
Advanced MS Office skills
Experience in tax calculation and tax filings in structured environments
Preferred: Knowledge of SAP
Experience in retail, manufacturing or accounting firms
Experience with tax projects / tax reform
