About the role
- Ensure efficient, ethical and accurate management of termination processes and payroll routines, ensuring legal compliance, adherence to deadlines and collective bargaining agreements.
- Act as a partner to managers and internal teams, providing a secure, humane and structured offboarding experience and contributing to the accuracy and integrity of information during payroll closing.
- Support internal clients: provide clear, accurate and respectful guidance on termination processes, calculations, documentation and deadlines via tickets or direct assistance.
- Execute contract termination processes: perform termination pay calculations according to the type of separation (resignation, dismissal for cause, end of contract, etc.) and ensure compliance with legal deadlines.
- Issue and verify termination documents: ensure correct delivery of TRCT, FGTS withdrawal forms, unemployment insurance documentation, reference letters and other mandatory documents in accordance with current legislation.
- Ensure compliance with legislation and collective bargaining agreements: validate calculations, deadlines and procedures according to the CLT (Brazilian Labor Code) and regional collective agreements.
- Communicate terminations to responsible departments: send emails with separation details to Benefits, Compensation and Time & Attendance teams, ensuring deductions and payments are applied correctly in the termination.
- Support payroll closing: provide updated information, review data and ensure the accuracy and integrity of information that impacts payroll.
- Ensure formal termination sign-offs (homologations): prepare documents, advise employees, verify calculations and ensure the process complies with legal deadlines and requirements.
- Monitor termination process KPIs: keep records up to date, track deadlines, identify improvement opportunities and support area analyses and reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Administration, Psychology, Accounting or related fields.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with payroll and timekeeping systems.
- Strong knowledge of labor legislation.
- Experience with contract termination processes, labor calculations and offboarding routines.
