About the role
- Responsible for driving customer solution requirements, driving customer adoption and solutions, and synthesizing product roadmaps across Fastly’s Network Services, Compute and partner integrations
- Define the roadmap for the network services product features and partner with stakeholders across the organization to deliver these products for customers
- Understand customer challenges to product and solution adoption and devise ways to overcome them
- Build effective tools and collateral to explain the solutions developed and how to use them
- Define and monitor product success metrics using data-driven goals
- Collaboratively lead cross-functional and distributed teams by building trusted working relationships throughout the company, at all levels of the organization
- Drive strategic initiatives that impact customer satisfaction and revenue goals
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent experience
- 5-8 years of product management experience
- Product management experience, with strong understanding of internet technologies like DNS, HTTP, TLS and API’s
- Experience working on large scale distributed systems, cloud services and networking
- Ability to think tactically and strategically to craft a compelling platform product roadmap that delivers customer and business value while making smart tradeoffs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Entrepreneurial ethos and a bias for action; ability to break complex problems into simple solvable steps
- Preferred: Understanding of media and streaming services with CDN
- Preferred: Passion for driving adoption through product analytics with experience
- Must be available during core business hours
