Shape and execute the long-term strategy for detection engineering, security incident response, threat intelligence, and threat hunting
Lead efforts to build detections, tools, automations, and integrations that strengthen our threat detection and response capabilities
Mentor, grow, and support a team of security engineers
Work with Fastly's Incident Management team to improve security incident response processes, playbooks, and metrics
Partner with engineering to implement security controls
Lead security incidents for the company

Requirements

7-10+ years of relevant experience
Experience in security engineering, detection development, incident response
Technical understanding of attacker threats and exploitation techniques
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Ruby, Go, or Rust
Experience leading large cross-functional security incidents
