About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create and implement effective direct sales strategies
- forecast, report, and keep sales cases updated in the CRM
- Maintain consistent communication and timely follow-up with customers and prospects
- Report market needs to product lines and management
- Manage to meet/exceed monthly, trimester, and annual sales targets
- Meet regularly with existing customers, partners, and new prospects in sales territory to understand their evolving business needs
- Execute negotiations with customers and partners to close contracts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a demanding automation solution or system sales business
- Technical know-how: experience in sales in the manufacturing automation industry and processes and/or technology/metal industry and/or machine tool building and/or robotics industry
- Specific knowledge of ERP, scheduling, automation, tool management, and program management in a manufacturing environment
- A 4-year or master’s degree from an accredited university is preferred but not required
