About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Create and implement effective direct sales strategies
  • forecast, report, and keep sales cases updated in the CRM
  • Maintain consistent communication and timely follow-up with customers and prospects
  • Report market needs to product lines and management
  • Manage to meet/exceed monthly, trimester, and annual sales targets
  • Meet regularly with existing customers, partners, and new prospects in sales territory to understand their evolving business needs
  • Execute negotiations with customers and partners to close contracts

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a demanding automation solution or system sales business
  • Technical know-how: experience in sales in the manufacturing automation industry and processes and/or technology/metal industry and/or machine tool building and/or robotics industry
  • Specific knowledge of ERP, scheduling, automation, tool management, and program management in a manufacturing environment
  • A 4-year or master’s degree from an accredited university is preferred but not required
