About the role

  • Design and maintain data models and analysis services to extract knowledge from enterprise systems
  • Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines to support artificial intelligence and machine learning initiatives
  • Develop and deploy required data queries and reports in response to business user needs
  • Prepare, cleanse, and transform datasets for AI model training and evaluation
  • Develop data models and protocols for mining production databases with data owners and key users
  • Assist in development of data management policies, procedures, governance, and compliance for AI projects
  • Coordinate creation and management of data queries and reports with architects and key users
  • Integrate the data platform with operational systems and manage access and data consistency
  • Apply data quality best practices and maintain change control and testing processes for data flows
  • Maintain and enhance databases, monitor performance, stored procedures, and implement efficiency improvements
  • React to errors or failed processes in the data platform environment and troubleshoot
  • Collaborate with Data Architect and security team to ensure protection and integrity of data assets
  • Develop routines and tools to facilitate end-user best-practice use of data management tools

Requirements

  • Bachelor`s or Master´s degree in computer science, information management or statistics, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Strong understanding of data models and database structures
  • Good knowledge of Power BI
  • Knowledge of TimeXtender (benefit)
  • Excellent knowledge of data modeling and database management tools
  • Experience with data preparation, transformation, processing, classification, and forecasting
  • Working technical experience with relational database servers
  • Experience with data management techniques and ETL tools
  • Hands-on database tuning and troubleshooting experience
  • Programming experience (Python, C#, etc.)
  • Knowledge of SQL Server Analysis Services (benefit)
  • Understanding of Microsoft Azure services
  • Understanding of incremental development (DevOps)
  • Project management experience
  • Experience communicating with various stakeholders and participating in inter-departmental projects
  • Strong written and oral communication and technical documentation skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and customer service orientation
  • Ability to conduct research into data management issues and present ideas in user-friendly language
  • Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, analytical, and able to prioritize and execute tasks under pressure
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
