About the role

Prepares clear, complete, and accurate working plans and detail drawings from rough or detailed sketches or notes by performing the following duties.
Use Computer Aided Design (CAD) software, 2D and 3D.
Use internal, national, and industry drafting standards.
Creates drawings according to current standards and manufacturing processes.
Verify accuracy of drawings, checking dimensions, materials, relationship between parts, and tolerances.
Utilizes knowledge of mathematics and physical sciences to create designs and drawings.
Communicate with other departments to validate design and/or drawings.
Perform sustaining engineering tasks, including but not limited to engineering change, and 3D modeling of previously product drawn in 2D.

CAD software experience of 0+ years is necessary
Current enrolment (or recent graduate) in an Associate’s degree (A.A.), Bachelor’s degree or equivalent program from a college or technical school; or zero months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
