About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Visiting dog and cat breeders/shelters/rescues/trainers in person within assigned territory
Educate/train prospective customers on brand benefits – close with a sale of product
Drive compliance of newly created recommendation portal/PRO App
Achieve all KPIs as assigned for territory growth
Attend/plan/organize events (dog/cat shows, etc) across U.S. (even outside assigned territory as needed) as defined – min. 12 events per calendar year
Act as brand ambassador at all times
Learn, understand and promote Farmina full catalog

Requirements

What you’ll need

4+ years of outside sales experience OR equivalent relevant experience in the animal health industry
Comfort in managing large territory.
Overnights/weekend travel required
Reliable personal vehicle able to be utilized for territory management
Ability to work independently, entrepreneurial mindset
Strong relationship building skills
Breeding/Shelter work experience preferred
Live within 30 miles of major airport
Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
