About the role
- Support the Business Insurance team by directly leading the Filing Implementation team and the Forms Development team.
- Prioritize projects, identify process improvements, advocate team initiatives, manage workflow and capacity, and develop success metrics.
- Ensure appropriate training, continuity planning, and consultative expertise across the team and to business partners.
- Lead, mentor, manage, and develop a team of forms and filing analysts.
- Develop strategic direction for process, improvement opportunities, and defined performance metrics.
- Assign workloads, set priorities, and track team performance outcomes.
- Maintain procedures and best practices for forms development, forms testing, and filing implementation.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, team structure, and tools to enhance efficiency and quality of work.
- Lead and conduct competitor analysis with a focus on forms and filing strategies.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to guide product development according to business unit plans.
- Evaluate coverage structures and product forms to ensure market demands are met.
- Manage customer experience journeys by tailoring products to meet customer needs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience with forms development and/or state filing implementation
- 3+ years of experience leading people
- Technical subject matter expert in forms management and/or filing implementation
- Experience with SERFF filing application, workflow management tools, and Excel proficiency (macros, pivot tables, etc.)
- Extensive insurance industry knowledge
- Commercial lines insurance experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
