Acquire, curate, and publish data both on-prem and in the cloud for analytical and operational uses
Ensure data is in a ready-to-use form creating a single version of the truth across all data consumers
Coach and support business/technology users, reporting and visualization specialists, and data scientists
Independently lead design, development, and implementation of complex data projects including data models, pipelines, and API integrations
Adhere to data governance guidelines and architectural principles
Work in a hybrid setting with option to work remotely as described by Farmers
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, or a closely related field of study
5 years of experience in the job offered, or as a Data Analyst, MSBI Developer, ETL Developer, or similar position responsible for acquiring, curating, and publishing data
2 years of experience working in SQL and ETL development, including MSBI platform
2 years of experience using Microsoft Business Intelligence (MSBI) Platform and SSIS
2 years of experience using MS Power BI and Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for reporting and data visualization
2 years of experience working with database technologies that includes data design and data modeling using SQL Server
Experience gathering business requirements, understanding end user needs and documenting specifications to provide work breakdown
