About the role
- Utilize predictive and prescriptive analytics and statistical machine learning modeling techniques
- Collaborate with IT for end-to-end quality assurance testing
- Support collection, organization, and preparation of datasets
- Use AWS SageMaker and Lambda functions for job scheduling and model training
- Distill business problems and develop analytical frameworks
- Design and analyze A/B testing experiments
- Build and optimize advanced models and pipelines
- Partner with IT and data management teams for data infrastructure execution
- Mentor junior team members and lead training programs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Statistics, Data Science, or a closely related field of study, plus 5 years of experience in the job offered, or as a Predictive Analyst II, Marketing Analyst II, Business Intelligence Developer, or similar position influencing data-driven strategic business decisions.
- Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Statistics, Data Science, or a closely related field of study, plus 3 years of experience.
- 3 years of experience working with advanced data analysis and manipulation tools including SQL, Python, R, and Snowflake.
- 3 years of experience with AWS cloud computing services including Lambda, S3, SageMaker, and Athena.
- 3 years of experience with statistical modeling algorithms including Generalized Linear Regression, Gradient-Boosting, Decision Tree, Random Forest, and Support Vector Machine.
- Must have experience designing, measuring, and forecasting key product performance metrics using self-serve business intelligence tools PowerBI and Tableau.
- Building, optimization, deployment, and maintenance of customized advanced statistical and machine learning models using structured and unstructured data and effective source code version-control in GitHub.
