About the role
- Driving new business by identifying prospects, reaching out, and converting leads into policyholders
- Conducting client consultations to determine insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage
- Selling and cross-selling insurance products such as Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial policies
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships through ongoing support and policy reviews
- Achieving and surpassing individual sales goals to help drive agency growth
- Staying current on product knowledge and compliance standards
- Using CRM tools to manage leads, follow-ups, and policy renewals
- Participating in team meetings and sales strategy sessions
Requirements
- At least one year of experience in sales, customer service, or insurance (preferred)
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
- Confidence in making outbound calls and closing sales
- A coachable mindset and eagerness to learn
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health licenses preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Bilingual skills are a plus
