About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work on strategic category analysis, monitoring performance indicators such as profitability, turnover, coverage and portfolio efficiency;
- Develop structured analyses by category, brand, SKU and assortment, identifying trends, opportunities and performance deviations;
- Identify gaps, duplicates, stockouts, commercial opportunities and risks within the product portfolio;
- Support the development and evolution of the Portfolio Relevance Index, ensuring methodological consistency and a strategic perspective;
- Prepare category diagnostics in an “as is / to be” model, proposing plans for assortment evolution and optimization;
- Produce strategic recommendations for category evolution, assortment prioritization and portfolio expansion;
- Support decisions related to prioritization of product onboarding, shelf placement and product availability across sales channels;
- Partner with Commercial, Marketing, Product, Data, Technology and Operations teams to ensure strategic alignment and execution of initiatives;
- Work together with the Catalog team to prioritize corrections, standardization and enrichment of product information;
- Build and monitor KPIs, reports and dashboards to support decision-making;
- Contribute to the definition and evolution of methodologies, processes and governance within Category Management;
- Prepare executive presentations, analytical materials and reports for stakeholders and leadership;
- Support continuous improvement, automation and analytics initiatives applied to category management;
- Monitor market trends, consumer behavior and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree completed in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Engineering, Pharmacy or related fields.
- Experience in Category Management, Trade Marketing, Portfolio Management or Commercial Intelligence.
- Experience in performance analysis, building strategic recommendations and data-driven decision making.
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
- Knowledge of BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Looker Studio is a plus.
- Strong analytical ability, business acumen and data synthesis skills.
- Collaborative profile with good communication, influencing skills, prioritization ability and result orientation.
- Autonomy, resilience, ownership mindset and ability to operate in dynamic environments.
- Courses or certifications in Excel, BI, Analytics, Trade Marketing or Commercial Management are a plus.
