About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare information and review UK corporation tax computations and returns (CT600), managing the compliance calendar and deadlines (including QIPs).
  • Support the tax accounting cycle—current and deferred tax provisions and disclosures under IFRS and/or US GAAP.
  • Identify risks and opportunities (capital allowances, R&D, loss utilisation, group relief, corporate interest restriction) and translate technical positions into clear guidance for non-specialists.
  • Support tax governance and risk: SAO, CCO procedures, the HMRC relationship (BRR+), and the published tax strategy.
  • Provide day-to-day advisory on UK matters—withholding taxes, interest deductibility (CIR), transfer pricing inputs, and cross-border transactions.
  • Manage HMRC enquiries, preparing robust documentation and liaising with advisers and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in UK corporate tax, in practice or in-house.
  • Sound working knowledge of UK corporation tax legislation.
  • Strong Excel skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English (our company language).
  • Able to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • A team player with a proactive, pragmatic, hands-on attitude.
  • Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent), achieved or in progress.
  • Experience within a Big Four firm or a multinational in-house tax team.
  • Awareness of tax governance obligations (SAO, CCO) and international developments (e.g. Pillar Two).
