About the role
- Guide required process and policy modifications for prompt, worldwide execution of standards
- Responsible for accounting of a subsidiary of the group
- Prepare and record accounting entries
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations with analytical view
- Prepare and complete monthly and annual tax obligations
- Support execution of the company's financial statements
- Prepare and participate in external audit requests
- Ensure that controls are carried out
- Drive process optimization
- Report to the Accounting Manager and collaborate with the finance team to achieve monthly closing goals
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting
- At least 5 years of functional experience in accounting
- Experience in IFRS and/or US GAAP (will be a plus)
- Advanced knowledge in Excel (mandatory)
- Experience with other computer systems; Power Query will be a plus
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken (mandatory)
- Flexible and able to work under pressure
- Excellent team player with the ability to interact with different departments
