About the role

  • provide expert advice to the team
  • participate in designing, developing, testing, and/or maintaining hardware, technology, and/or processes
  • determine the needs of customer groups across multiple projects, programs, or products while identifying and resolving conflicting and/or complementary needs
  • design and develop technical solutions, which include leading matrixed teams
  • apply extensive expertise in process-driven approach in designing solutions
  • oversee the maintenance of existing technical solutions

Requirements

  • 6 years of hands-on Splunk administration and engineering experience
  • Strong understanding of Splunk architecture (indexers, search heads, forwarders, clustering, licensing)
  • Proficiency in SPL (Search Processing Language)
  • Experience with onboarding data from multiple sources (syslog, APIs, cloud platforms, security tools)
  • Familiarity with Splunk Enterprise Security (ES)
  • Solid background in Linux/Unix system administration
  • Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
