About the role
- Define and lead the EMEA commercial marketing strategy to drive revenue growth, market penetration, and long-term brand value for Mitchell & Ness in this region.
- Bring strong regional expertise and market insight to shape strategic planning cycles and unlock growth opportunities across EMEA.
- Ensure marketing strategies are channel-relevant, commercially focused, and aligned to both EMEA priorities and global brand direction.
- Own EMEA marketing KPIs and performance frameworks, embedding a results-driven, performance-led approach across all activity.
- Manage and optimise the EMEA marketing budget, ensuring disciplined investment and clear ROI.
- Operate as a highly self-directed leader, proactively identifying opportunities, solving problems, and driving initiatives forward.
- Own the end-to-end creation and delivery of high-impact EMEA marketing activations, including defining how Mitchell & Ness shows up at key regional moments and international NFL/NBA games.
- Develop culturally relevant, insight-led campaigns that build brand heat while delivering commercial impact.
- Translate consumer, market, and cultural trends into compelling campaign ideas that resonate across diverse EMEA markets.
- Build scalable campaign toolkits that balance global consistency with local flexibility.
- Take a hands-on approach to execution, ensuring campaigns are delivered at pace and to a high standard.
- Act as the key EMEA marketing lead within the global Mitchell & Ness ecosystem, partnering closely with US, LATAM, APAC, and Australia teams.
- Lead relationships with EMEA partners and distributors, ensuring alignment, clarity, and execution excellence.
- Influence and align cross-functional teams across marketing, sales, product, and finance without direct authority.
- Leverage shared resources across the Fanatics International business to deliver best-in-class outputs.
- Champion a “one team” approach, ensuring seamless collaboration across regions and functions.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase speed, efficiency, and effectiveness across EMEA marketing.
- Partner closely with Product, PLM, and Design to align marketing plans with category strategies and seasonal priorities.
- Co-create integrated product and marketing campaigns that deliver strong sell-in and sell-out stories.
- Collaborate with wholesale, eCommerce, and retail teams to deliver insight-led consumer and trade marketing assets.
- Lead the development of seasonal sales materials, presentations, and brand assets to support commercial success.
- Take ownership for delivery, taking a hands on approach to ensure plans are executed effectively.
- Define and lead the EMEA wholesale marketing strategy, grounded in shopper insight and regional retail dynamics.
- Act as the expert in trade marketing across EMEA, delivering impactful communication strategies that support customer objectives.
- Build strong relationships with key regional retail partners, supporting pre-line and sell-in processes.
- Work closely with local market teams to develop and execute relevant marketing plans, providing clear direction and tools.
Requirements
- Proven ability to lead through influence, driving alignment and results across cross-functional and international teams without direct line management.
- Commercially minded marketing professional with strong experience across international markets, particularly EMEA retail and consumer behaviour.
- Deep understanding of the full marketing mix (brand, digital, PR, creative, trade), with the ability to deliver integrated, high-impact campaigns.
- Strong strategic planning and go-to-market expertise, with a track record of delivering successful multi-channel product launches.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Highly self-motivated and hands-on, with strong project management skills and the ability to operate at pace, managing multiple priorities and delivering results.
