About the role

  • Represent and uphold the Mitchell & Ness brand in all local-facing efforts, serving as a natural extension of our history, heritage, and mission.
  • Build authentic connections within fitness, music, art, and food communities, helping cultivate relationships with local tastemakers, creatives, and cultural leaders.
  • Support the planning, promotion, and execution of local events and activations, particularly those leading up to the flagship store launch.
  • Collaborate with creative and retail teams on photo and video shoots, helping source and contribute visual content that reflects the M&N ethos.
  • Assist with local press and media efforts by identifying storytelling moments and PR opportunities that elevate brand awareness in the market.
  • Support on-site event execution, including setup, breakdown, guest engagement, and real-time problem solving.
  • Work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and extended hours as needed to support events and campaigns.

Requirements

  • 3 plus years of hand-on experience producing or coordinating events, brand activations, or community based programming.
  • Existing relationships within the local communities with the ability to continue to build and maintain those connections.
  • Experience supporting well-organized, professional events with multiple stakeholders and high standards of execution.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage timelines, logistics, and follow-through
  • Professional presence and sound judgment when representing a brand in public-facing environments.
  • Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional partners while also working independently when needed.
  • Ability to adapt in live environments, problem solve, and remain calm under pressure.
  • Genuine interest in sports culture, heritage brands, and community engagement.
