About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate client mental health, emotional well-being, and social functioning.
Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with clients to address their specific needs and goals.
Provide direct behavioral support, evidence-based interventions, and life skill development to support clients with achieving their goals.
Provide psychoeducation on mental health and substance use topics, such as symptom management, relapse prevention, and developing healthy coping skills.
Engage clients in meaningful activities and social interactions to promote mental and emotional well-being, including providing transportation and/or accompanying clients to access community resources and support services.
Provide training and support to families, caregivers, and other stakeholders on implementing behavior management strategies and techniques, promoting understanding and collaboration.
Engage clients in risk assessment and safety planning.
Following established protocols and procedures for de-escalation and intervention, provide support, guidance, and the development of coping strategies for managing crisis situations.
Participate in supervision to review cases, receive guidance, and collaborate on therapeutic interventions to assist in providing evidence-based, culturally responsive client services.
Adhere to ethical standards, professional codes of conduct, and legal regulations governing clinical practice.
Monitor and document client progress and adjust plans as needed.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate degree required, Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
Direct experience in a Behavioral Health or Social Services setting such as outpatient clinics, behavioral health facilities, and/or related community-based organizations.
One (1) year of direct experience in a Behavioral Health or Social Services setting such as outpatient clinics, behavioral health facilities, and/or related community-based organizations, preferred.
Must be computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of database and reporting tools
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal)
Excellent time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information.
