About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a point of contact for Donor and Community partner inquiries via email and phone calls.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, community groups, volunteers, and staff.
- Coordinate department communication and correspondence- both internally and externally, ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of information.
- Participate in meetings, committees, and workgroups related to Development activities, providing administrative support and assistance as needed.
- Enter gifts, track donor records and communication within the CRM system.
- Ensure that all required documentation is accurate, complete, and in compliance with agency requirements.
- Work directly with social workers and program staff to identify client and program needs and translate them into donor or community support opportunities, including procurement of in-kind donations.
- Attend and assist with community and agency events, mixers, presentations, and other opportunities to represent the organization and cultivate support.
- As needed, serve as support and/or backup for other agency administrative functions or duties.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associate degree preferred
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in an administrative role or related field
- Must be computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and donor database systems
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal) with a customer-service mindset
- Excellent time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information

Comp & perks- Spanish Bilingual differential - 5% increase on the employee's hourly base rate of pay
- Mileage reimbursement $0.725 cents per mile
