About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for clinical programs in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Identify gaps in services and opportunities for program development.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with program operations, including legal, ethical, and clinical risks.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, accreditation requirements, and contractual obligations related to program operations and service delivery.
  • Manage recruitment, provide clinical oversight and supervision of program staff, including clinicians, support staff, and other associated partners.
  • Facilitate training and professional development opportunities for program staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services in accordance with best practices and standards of care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of program services.
  • Monitor program outcomes and performance metrics, utilizing data to evaluate program effectiveness and make informed decisions for improvement.
  • Collaborate with finance and manage program budgets, allocating resources effectively to support program activities and priorities.
  • Take corrective actions as needed to ensure financial sustainability.
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the program.
  • Collaborate with other departments and programs within the organization to optimize resources, streamline processes, and enhance program integration and coordination.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with external organizations, funders, agencies, and advocacy groups to support the needs of program participants, both internally within the organization and externally in the broader community.
  • Identify and utilize resources to stay informed and keep current on relevant policy developments and legislative initiatives related to the program’s mission and goals.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology or a related field
  • Current active and unrestricted California license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, or Psychologist
  • Minimum of four (4) years of related professional experience, including supporting staff in a supervisory role is required
  • Direct experience and knowledge of Behavioral Health and Social Services Core Practices in settings, such as outpatient clinics, facilities, and/or community-based organizations
  • Experience in program design, implementation, strategic planning, budget management, and team leadership
  • Must be computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of database and reporting tools
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal)
  • Excellent time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information.
