About the role
- Manage, clean, organize, and interpret large, complex customer datasets using advanced Excel expertise (e.g., Power Query, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.).
- Maintain rigorous data hygiene across marketing systems, CRM, and customer lists to support accurate list creation, targeting, and reporting.
- Clean data from multiple sources to be accurate and relevant to campaigns.
- Create QR codes with specific campaign tracking to read campaign performance.
- Create redirect urls through WordPress for user friendly branded urls in marketing campaigns and materials that also provide tracking.
- Set up trackable phone numbers through Invoca to measure phone call volume from specific campaigns, down to effort, offer, and creative detail
- Understand basic CRM structure to accurately pull data sets, lists, and customer segments for campaigns.
- Ensure accurate list selection, data hygiene, and application to branded communications.
- Support compliance with CAN-SPAM, TCPA/SMS, and telephone marketing regulations across all outbound communications.
- Maintain opt-in, opt-out, suppression, and preference-center data with accuracy and consistency.
- Partner closely with the Customer Marketing Lifecycle Manager to supply accurate data segments for email, SMS, direct mail, and other customer communications.
- Assist in implementing customer onboarding, upsell, cross-sell, and retention campaign workflows.
- Support recurring revenue marketing strategies with data insights, segmentation, and customer behavior analysis.
- Work with marketing, operations, and customer service teams to ensure data accessibility, alignment, and integrity.
- Communicate clearly and proactively regarding timelines, requests, and dependencies.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in a marketing data-focused role, possibly involving email, texting list creation and execution.
- Advanced Excel skills with demonstrated ability to clean and dedupe large lists.
- Direct experience working within a CRM, preferably HubSpot.
- Strong process orientation, detail focus, and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to be highly responsive to direction and feedback and work to deadlines
- Familiarity with CAN-SPAM, SMS/TCPA, and related outbound marketing compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks or projects.
