About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the coordination of regulatory communications, including data requests, supervisory letters, information packages, and follow‑up responses.
- Drafting regulatory correspondence and coordinating reviews by key stakeholders and senior management.
- Maintain accurate records of regulator interactions, submissions, and supervisory communications.
- Support & facilitate regulatory reviews, meetings and collection of evidence and feedback.
- Track supervisory findings, recommendations, and commitments in centralized logs or issue‑tracking tools.
- Monitor remediation milestones, evidence submission timelines, and dependencies across business and control functions.
- Escalate risks of slippage or gaps in evidence to Risk and senior management.
- Support the preparation of OSFI‑related materials, including: Supervisory meeting decks and briefing notes, Background materials and response packages, Management summaries of supervisory themes and expectations.
- Liaise with Risk, Compliance, Finance, Technology, Operations, Legal, and Internal Audit to gather inputs for OSFI requests.
- Support internal readiness activities for OSFI exams, thematic reviews, and supervisory assessments.
- Monitor regulatory guidance, advisories, and supervisory communications for relevance to the Bank.
- Assist in summarizing emerging regulatory themes for internal distribution.
- Assist in preparing management and Committee reporting related to regulatory engagements, supervisory issues, and remediation status.
- Maintain records of regulatory activity.
- Support engagements with other regulatory bodies as required.
- Adhoc Enterprise Risk Management workflow and reporting support as required.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4–7 years of experience in enterprise risk management, regulatory affairs, compliance, or regulator support roles.
- Experience working within an OSFI‑regulated financial institution or working directly with federal financial regulators.
- Undergraduate degree is an asset.
- Ability to manage multiple regulatory deliverables under tight timelines.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Powerpoint, Excel, Sharepoint, Teams…etc).
- Experience with GRC Platforms (ie. Resolver, ServiceNow), designing workflows.
- Experience leveraging AI tools to support and enhance workflows.
- Exposure to regulatory exams, internal audits, or issue remediation tracking.
- Strong facilitation, coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong communications skills and organizational awareness.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and deliver high quality outputs.
