About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support multiple communities in the Dallas / Fort Worth Metro by providing advanced technical expertise, hands-on repair capability, and on-request supervisory support
- Mentor and cross-train maintenance associates at assigned communities
- Provide on-request supervision, coaching, and hiring support
- Promote and support participation in Fairfield training programs
- Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and more
- Complete preventive maintenance and common-area upkeep
- Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies when needed
- Oversee on-site capex projects and vendor work quality
- Assist with bidding, scope development, and procurement
- Track project timelines to meet required milestones
- Ensure adherence to Fairfield policies, OSHA standards, and hazardous materials requirements
- Conduct routine inspections of building systems and safety equipment
- Support make-ready schedules, move-ins, and move-outs upon request
- Maintain communication with onsite and regional teams across multiple communities
- Make regular on-site visits to properties across the Dallas / Fort-Worth Metroplex
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent required
- EPA Certification, Type II or universal required
- CPO Certification (Pool) required, as needed
- CAMT Certification preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on building maintenance experience
- Supervisory experience required
- Multifamily/apartment experience required
- Experience with Yardi or similar property management software
- Candidates should live within the Dallas / Fort-Worth Metroplex
