About the role

  • As the first point of contact for prospective customers, the Sales Development Representative (SDR) is a key player in fueling the sales pipeline.
  • Support sales efforts by identifying, qualifying, and contacting potential new customers for FairCom’s database software solutions.
  • Utilize Hubspot, LinkedIn, cold calling, and strategic email campaigns to generate new sales opportunities.
  • Maintain assigned leads in FairCom’s CRM (Hubspot) as well as general industry contacts to manage the top of the sales funnel and allow for up-to-date sales data.
  • Schedule product demonstrations/technical discussions with Account Executives and potential customers.
  • Continually fine-tune persona-specific messaging to quickly explain the value proposition of FairCom’s database software solutions.

Requirements

  • At least 1-2 years of sales development or business development experience in the software development industry.
  • A clear communicator with experience in cold calling & making outbound phone calls and emails.
  • A minimum of 3 years of Customer Service experience.
  • Must have professional proficiency working with HubSpot and/or other CRM Systems
  • Must have professional proficiency working with Google Suite or Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution (Position Preferences).
  • Experience with Inbound & Outbound Sales tools (Automation, Bots, etc.).
  • Experience with sales or customer service in the DBMS industry (Position Preferences).
