About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer and maintain Linux environments (installation, configuration, updates, and troubleshooting)
- Manage services and resources in Azure Cloud (virtual machines, networking, storage, and permissions)
- Administer Active Directory, including:
- Users and groups
- Security policies (GPO)
- Access control and permissions
- Support administration and operation of databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL or PostgreSQL), focusing on:
- Availability
- Performance
- Backup and restore routines
- Monitor environments and services, performing incident analysis and resolution
- Support information security initiatives, access control, and operational best practices
- Document technical procedures and environments
- Work collaboratively with development and support teams
- Support maintenance and configuration of NGINX and RabbitMQ
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong knowledge of Linux (server administration, services, permissions, logs)
- Experience with Azure Cloud
- Practical knowledge of Active Directory
- Database knowledge (basic administration, operational routines, and support)
- Networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, firewall, VPN)
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, Grafana, or similar)
- Familiarity with backup routines and disaster recovery
- Behavioral profile:
- Analytical and organized
- Ability to operate in critical environments
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Proactivity and a strong sense of responsibility
- Commitment to best practices and documentation
- Preferred / Differentials:
- Knowledge of information security and best practices (ISO 27001, LGPD)
- Experience with automation (shell scripting, PowerShell, or Python)
- Experience with hybrid environments (on-premises + cloud)
- Knowledge of containers (Docker) or virtualization
- Certifications or courses in Linux, Azure, or Infrastructure
