About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the multi-year Institutional Buyside ASV growth strategy and commercial execution
  • Define positioning, client targeting, personas, commercial direction, and growth priorities
  • Lead commercialization of new products, innovations, and AI solutions for Institutional Buyside clients
  • Translate client feedback, competitive intelligence, and market insights into product, pricing, packaging, and investment recommendations
  • Develop go-to-market strategies for asset managers, asset owners, sovereign wealth funds, pensions, and insurers across front- and middle-office workflows
  • Provide strategic market intelligence and identify competitive, regulatory, and structural risks
  • Build executive relationships with institutional clients and industry leaders
  • Serve as executive sponsor for strategic accounts and lead executive QBRs and strategic dialogues
  • Facilitate Institutional Buyside Client Advisory Boards
  • Represent FactSet at institutional-industry events, conferences, and forums
  • Lead and develop the Institutional Buyside GTM pod and align cross-functional partners
  • Own the Institutional Buyside ASV growth plan, performance, whitespace opportunities, and risks
  • Partner with Sales leadership on strategic opportunities, expansions, at-risk accounts, coverage, and business reviews
  • Strengthen sales enablement, training, certifications, tools, and AI-selling expertise
  • Coordinate Product, Marketing, Pricing, Sales Enablement, Legal, and Compliance around roadmap, launches, positioning, and regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with peer GTM leaders and Institutional Buyside Specialty Sales to deliver a unified client experience

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 15+ years of leadership experience in commercial, general management, product, strategy, or go-to-market roles
  • Experience within financial services, financial technology, or the institutional buyside domain
  • Leadership experience in complex, matrixed organizations with revenue or ASV accountability
  • Proven track record defining and executing multi-year growth strategies with measurable outcomes
  • Proven track record commercializing and driving adoption of new products, technologies, and AI-driven solutions
  • Proven ability to align cross-functional teams in complex, matrixed environments
  • Deep experience with institutional buyside clients, including asset managers, asset owners, sovereign wealth funds, pensions, and insurers
  • Understanding of institutional client needs, buying dynamics, and industry trends
  • Executive-level client engagement, strategic account sponsorship, and C-suite relationship management
  • Commercial strategy experience, including value proposition development, pricing, packaging, and adoption-led growth models
  • Strong commercial and strategic acumen with accountability for business outcomes
  • Executive presence and credibility with C-suite clients, industry stakeholders, and senior internal stakeholders
  • Ability to influence and align Sales, Product, Marketing, Pricing, and other functions
  • Ability to balance long-term strategic thinking with disciplined execution and operational rigor
  • Recognized market expertise and ability to translate insights into growth opportunities and strategic decisions
  • Proven people leadership and experience building high-performing teams
  • Preferred: prior go-to-market strategy, product strategy, market development, or segment leadership experience
  • Preferred: commercial client-facing experience such as Relationship Management, Consulting Services, or Sales Leadership
  • Preferred: familiarity with data, analytics, index, trading, workflow, and AI solutions for institutional clients
  • Preferred: knowledge of front- and middle-office investment workflows
  • Preferred: established senior-level network across the institutional buyside ecosystem
