Key responsibilities & impact

Manage a team of software engineers or projects within the Search and Look Up department
Review product requirement documents
Problem solving and working on high-level (operational or architectural) issues to ensure effectiveness of products under direct management
Implements and tracks development timelines, and negotiates feature sets with development leads and product teams
Sets goals and mentors development of ongoing projects
Provides guidance and direction to team on software design and implementation
Reviews code changes and submissions
Presents technical & operational issues to senior management and sets deadlines and priorities for team members
Helps to coordinate recruiting, training and new hire onboarding for immediate team.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related technical field
2 years of software engineering industry experience
Experience with C#, .NET Framework, Python, SQL (MS SQL Server), Perl, JavaScript, Bash/Shell scripting, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch 2, 6, and 9
Experience with AWS (S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, Parameter Store, Aurora & RDS, Step Functions, EventBridge, Kinesis, Firehose)
Experience with ETL Pipelines
Experience with Linux, Windows, SSH (PuTTY, WSL)
Experience with Kibana, Grafana
Must have full software development life cycle experience.
