About the role
- Providing product (functional and technical) guidance on the solutioning of processes based on customer needs
- Effectively communicate with our most sophisticated users via a strong understanding of investment principles and their application in the industry
- Identify growth strategies by outlining client organizational structures and uncovering additional opportunity during the implementation process
- Share emerging trends, what is working well, and areas for improvement with the Analytics & Trading SBU
- Study client workflows and partner with Product Development and Engineering to enhance FactSet’s products
- Provide user training and support the development of training programs
- Facilitate transition from implementation phase to support
- Create user workflow specifications, custom report specifications, establish priority and direction to technical integration staff on client requirements
- Implement new and enhance existing deployments to create a better user experience and further enable sales opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor/Master degree or equivalent in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related scientific or technical discipline
- At least 4 years of experience working with FactSet’s Analytics tools
- Strong knowledge of performance workflows
- 10 years of financial services experience
- Strong technical background
- Proven technical proficiency particularly with writing complex screening codes
- Understanding of how clients use FactSet Analytics and Performance Solutions products
- Industry certifications preferred (CFA, CIPM, CAPM, FRM, MBA)
- Extremely detail-oriented with the ability to see the big picture
- Enthusiastic with a keen sense of initiative and a desire to take ownership
- Willingness to travel
