About the role

  • Lead technical accounting consultations with Sales and Legal teams during deal negotiations
  • Interpret complex contracts to identify and evaluate accounting issues under ASC 606
  • Provide guidance on best practices for structuring contracts
  • Research, document, and present revenue recognition conclusions and technical accounting positions
  • Partner with Corporate Accounting team for financial reporting
  • Update and maintain corporate revenue recognition policies
  • Deliver training to cross-functional teams on revenue recognition
  • Support quarterly external reporting process

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting
  • 8+ years of accounting experience with a focus on revenue recognition and technical accounting for public companies
  • Big 4 accounting firm experience
  • Strong technical background with deep knowledge of ASC 606
  • Proven experience conducting technical accounting research and preparing formal accounting conclusions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Strategic thinker with strong leadership skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship
