About the role
- Ensure Agile teams are practising core agile values
- Actively shield teams from interference
- Provide tools to identify and remove impediments
- Mentor teams towards being self-managed and cross-functional
- Foster a supportive team environment
- Partner with Product Owners to manage the backlog
- Facilitate Agile events
- Identify team capacity and manage trade-offs
- Mentor outcomes rather than outputs
- Create a psychologically safe environment for teams
- Support progress reporting and metrics for self-inspection
- Contribute to corporate communications efforts
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5-6 years of experience working in a software development organization
- 3-4 years of experience as Scrum Master for an Agile Team
- Scrum Master Certification preferred
- Proficiency with one Agile methodology and familiarity with others like Scrum, XP, and Kanban
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Willingness to provide direct and honest feedback to team members
- Excellent facilitation and mentoring skills
- Experience supporting teams in navigating AI-enabled productivity tools or insights is a bonus
