About the role
- Project management
- Independently lead complex Salesforce projects from planning through to go-live
- Ensure successful delivery with a focus on customer satisfaction by meeting quality, schedule and budget targets
- Plan, facilitate and manage project meetings such as status calls, steering committees and functional workshops
- Coordinate interdisciplinary teams (developers, consultants, SMEs, key users, business analysts, external partners) and ensure efficient collaboration
- Domain expertise & business analysis
- Analyze existing business processes and translate functional requirements into tailored solutions on the Salesforce platform
- Manage the entire development lifecycle (requirements analysis, technical design, implementation, testing, deployment)
- Quality assurance and implementation reviews to ensure adherence to best practices, security standards and development guidelines
- Plan and conduct customer workshops on core CRM topics such as AI strategy & use cases, data quality and CRM best practices
- Sales support
- Support our sales team in tenders and proposal preparation by developing CRM roadmaps, effort estimates and project methodologies
- Face to the Customer: Proactively develop and advise existing customers on CRM success and further CRM development
Requirements
- More than 5 years’ experience managing complex IT/CRM projects
- Strong leadership mindset with the willingness to take responsibility and successfully lead an interdisciplinary team
- Forward-looking thinking to identify opportunities and risks early and derive appropriate measures
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills to explain technical matters clearly and understandably to management, customers and internal teams
- Knowledge and experience with integration, automation and AI agent tools and platforms
- Deep knowledge of multiple Salesforce Clouds (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud)
- Expertise in project methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban, Waterfall, hybrid approaches) and hands-on experience with Jira & Confluence
- Curiosity about new technologies and trends in the CRM area and the ability to assess how they can create value for customers
- Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken, for work in international projects
