About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the development and maintenance of complex reports, dashboards, and data models
- Apply quantitative analysis and data mining to deliver actionable analytics and insights for strategic decisions
- Serve as liaison between the data team and internal stakeholders
- Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analyses
- Present findings to senior management and influence decision-making through data-driven recommendations
- Independently manage and coordinate data analytics projects from inception to completion
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define requirements, mitigate risks, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions
- Participate in requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and post-launch optimization throughout the internal data product lifecycle
- Mentor and review junior data analysts
- Identify data quality, integrity, and accessibility issues
- Lead implementation of data best practices and report data discrepancies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Ability to write and troubleshoot complex SQL queries involving joins, aggregations, subqueries, and CTEs
- Hands-on experience building dashboards, reports, and visualizations in at least one enterprise BI platform (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong understanding of chart selection, filtering, and end-user usability
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables, lookup/index-match functions, conditional logic, and data cleanup techniques
- Familiarity with a modern data warehouse or lakehouse environment such as Snowflake or Databricks
- Ability to profile datasets, identify anomalies and gaps, reconcile figures across sources, and document assumptions and known limitations
- Experience or interest in developing AI-powered agents and automated analytical solutions
- General understanding of enterprise systems such as CRM (Salesforce)
- Strong attention to detail and habit of self-auditing work
- Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into structured, answerable analyses with defined scope, metric definitions, and success criteria
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analytics, with a proven track record of leading data projects
