About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Architect and drive innovative reports, predictive models, and analytical frameworks
Identify and size business opportunities, risks, and strategic initiatives
Advise senior leadership, business leaders, product managers, and engineering teams with data-driven recommendations
Translate complex analytical outcomes into compelling narratives for executive audiences
Lead complex, high-visibility analytics projects with ambiguous requirements and cross-functional dependencies
Define scope, methodology, and success criteria for large-scale analytical initiatives
Lead and mentor junior data analysts
Define and promote analytics best practices, frameworks, and methodologies
Drive data literacy and analytical rigor across the organization
Partner with Data Engineering and Product teams on data strategy and infrastructure
Drive data governance initiatives and ensure core data assets are accurate, accessible, and reliable

Requirements

What you’ll need

Expert-level ability to write, optimize, and troubleshoot highly complex SQL queries
Deep experience with advanced SQL functions, performance tuning, and data modeling in a warehouse environment
Mastery of at least one enterprise BI platform, such as Tableau or Power BI
Ability to design scalable, intuitive, high-performance dashboards adopted by senior leadership
Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including complex modeling, pivot tables, lookup/index-match functions, and data cleanup techniques
Deep familiarity and hands-on experience with Snowflake or Databricks, including architecture and cost-management principles
Experience with AI features of modern data tools
Experience designing and implementing AI-powered agents and automated analytical systems
Strong understanding of enterprise data models such as Salesforce CRM
Ability to deconstruct ambiguous strategic questions into logical, multi-phased analytical plans
Exceptional business acumen and track record using data to influence senior-level decisions
Exceptional communication and data storytelling skills
Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in data analytics
Significant experience leading complex projects and mentoring others
