About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive the high-level strategy for the AppWorld portfolio
  • Manage a diversified portfolio of curated experiences for high impact Security events
  • Define our presence, building the playbooks and audience journeys
  • Oversee the budgets and agencies
  • Ensure that our various events work together as a cohesive system
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of professional event leaders
  • Develop and evolve a comprehensive event roadmap that aligns with F5 priorities
  • Act as the 'conductor' across cross-functional teams to ensure all departments are unified

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field
  • 10+ years of B2B event marketing experience, preferably in technology organizations
  • Skilled in optimizing event-driven demand generation and lead management workflows
  • Experience managing and developing teams in a fast paced, high-volume environment
  • Experience working in global, matrixed organizations
  • Experience supporting multi-region campaign execution
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (Marketo, Allocadia, Cvent) and CRM systems (Salesforce)
