About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and expand an assigned group of high-net-worth investment portfolios for individual and institutional clients
- Manage portfolios according to the corporation’s investment policies and procedures
- Define client service expectations and strive to exceed them
- Coordinate with wealth management team members to develop investment policy statements defining client risk tolerances and investment objectives
- Initiate portfolio changes based on changes in client objectives, corporate asset allocation, or tactical recommendations
- Expand the book of business by identifying opportunities within assigned accounts
- Work with Client Advisors, Wealth Advisors, and internal and external centers of influence to attract new wealth clients
- Identify appropriate cross-sell opportunities to address clients’ financial needs
- Apply knowledge of portfolio management, trusts, pensions, IRAs, foundations, endowments, equity and fixed income markets, economics, asset allocation, and trading
- Complete corporate training, compliance, and regulatory requirements in a timely manner
- Serve as a risk manager by understanding, reporting, responding to, managing, and monitoring daily business risks
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- BA or BS
- 3 years of job-related experience
- Excellent project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to use a personal computer and job-related software
- MS Word — Basic Level
- MS Excel — Intermediate Level
- MS PowerPoint — Basic Level
- Progress towards an MBA or CFA
- Working knowledge of foundations and endowments, individual retirement accounts, pension plans, and income and capital gains tax
- CFA preferred
- Obtain a Series 65 License within 60 days of hire
- Frequent driving capability
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.; employment-based visa sponsorship is not provided
