About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage all properties including occupancy, maintenance, construction, relocation and renovation
  • Assign and monitor daily tasks for technicians
  • Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and negotiation with developers and contractors
  • Control expenses and approve payments for goods and services within authority
  • Meet with tenants or department heads to discuss matters concerning space, work flow, relocation, alterations or remodeling
  • Supervise the preparation of working drawings and plans
  • Provide complete and adequate services to maintain facilities in presentation and safety
  • Arrange for tours and inspections of a technical nature
  • Perform other related duties and projects as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School or GED
  • 5 years of experience in facilities management
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • General operational and technical knowledge in the fields of construction and lease-holdings
  • General knowledge in plumbing, carpentry, service or machinery, electrical repairs, and general maintenance
