About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform various duties to ensure accurate and timely reporting with annuity reinsurers
Prepare journal entries and required settlement reporting for annuity reinsurance treaties
Participate in many aspects of annuity reinsurance accounting and reporting
Prepare accounting/reporting entries and settlement reports for annuity treaties
Partner with various areas to implement new reinsurance treaties / amendments
Perform timely and accurate reconciliation of reinsurance accounts
Assist with internal, external, and reinsurer audits
Maintain key stroke level standard operating procedures
Assist with ad hoc requests, special projects and other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
1+ year of relevant experience in reinsurance accounting or financial reporting
Reinsurance accounting with annuities or financial services industries preferred
CPA license or in pursuit of such license preferred
Strong attention to detail
