About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Reporting to the IT Development and Modernization Manager, and as an IT Quality Assurance Analyst, work closely with users from the various internal sectors of the FQM, primarily in the context of IT modernization projects.
  • Develop and implement a structured, continuous quality approach to ensure compliance of IT deliverables and processes.
  • Understand and master the organization’s and its members’ strategic issues and business priorities to ensure a comprehensive vision adapted to business and technological needs.
  • Work closely with the delivery/implementation team.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of business processes, requirements, business rules and exceptions for each area of activity, while mastering the associated data.
  • Contribute to establishing software quality assurance best practices.
  • Gather, analyze and clarify user needs for each project, taking into account the benefits and limitations of each option.
  • Perform necessary analyses and produce required project deliverables, ensuring their compliance with requirements and quality standards.
  • Design, write and document test cases, create test datasets, and prepare relevant user guides to support solution deployment.
  • Identify defects and participate in their categorization, prioritization and resolution.
  • Execute functional tests during projects and participate in integration and acceptance testing, supporting users in validating solutions.
  • Identify and prioritize observed defects.
  • Support users during the rollout of new features, answer their questions and facilitate their adoption of changes.
  • Ensure consistent application of information security policies in accordance with the established governance framework.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in IT, including at least five (5) years as an IT analyst
  • Three (3) years of experience in quality assurance, including designing test cases, creating test datasets and writing user guides
  • Knowledge of best practices for integrations between business applications
  • Good knowledge of Windows environments
  • Strong ability to understand business processes and solve problems
  • User-centric approach with focus on user satisfaction
  • Ability to define and structure requirements from partial or high-level information
  • Familiarity with an agile methodology and project documentation framework
  • Expertise in finance and accounting (asset)
  • Excellent analytical, synthesis and writing skills, with a constant attention to detail and quality
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including active listening with diverse stakeholders and facilitating workshops
  • High professional rigor, strong sense of responsibility and ability to manage priorities in urgent contexts
  • High adaptability and interest in working in a growing environment
