About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support field operations in key human resources areas within an assigned region
  • Support and oversee talent acquisition, Team Member development, talent and succession planning, and leave, benefit and compensation administration
  • Guide, train, and participate in executing HR policies and processes
  • Support the organization’s strategic objectives, culture, and values
  • Develop and implement staffing and recruiting plans
  • Support recruiting, selection, and onboarding of new Team Members
  • Guide Field Leadership in staffing, performance management, Team Member development, and talent and succession planning
  • Partner with operations and training teams on compliance training, career path training/certification, new hire orientation, onboarding, and special projects
  • Manage and support Team Member relations and investigations
  • Guide business partners on federal, state, and local laws and Company policies and procedures
  • Build effective relationships with leadership and internal customers
  • Oversee recruiting, selection/screening, and onboarding processes according to KPIs
  • Participate in panel interviews and provide recommendations to hiring managers
  • Assist with compensation decisions for new hires, promotions, and merit increases
  • Oversee background and drug-check activities
  • Assess leadership development needs and high-potential Team Members
  • Analyze workforce data and reports, including vacancy rates, turnover, and talent gaps, and recommend strategies
  • Develop recommendations for improving procedures and practices
  • Conduct HR training and exit interviews
  • Support Human Resources initiatives and special projects
  • Manage resources and capacity effectively
  • Diagnose opportunities, drive organizational culture, and manage change initiatives to optimize productivity, buy-in, and engagement
  • Provide quality work and processes aligned with company standards, values, and initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be based in the DFW area
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related course of study, or five to eight years of related work experience
  • Progressive Human Resources generalist experience
  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred
  • Retail/pawn and multi-unit experience preferred
  • Knowledge of and ability to apply regulatory requirements, Company policies, and procedures
  • Ability to build effective business partnerships using influence, consultative skills, and diplomacy
  • Knowledge of compensation and benefits programs
  • Ability to motivate and enable others to achieve results
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Highly proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to diagnose opportunities, act as an agent of change, drive organizational culture, and manage change initiatives
