About the role

  • Collaborates with customers, peers, technical, and operations staff to ensure successful configuration, data conversion, deployment, and support of Workday HCM
  • Responsible for the support, maintenance and configuration of all Workday HCM modules
  • Support cross-functional teams in Prism Analytics
  • Serve as a Workday Subject Matter Expert (SME)
  • Partner with functional leads, the security team, and internal audit to manage Workday Security Groups
  • Analyze the interdependencies between Workday Human Capital Management and Workday Payroll
  • Design and configure Workday Business Processes (BPs)
  • Configure benefit plans, eligibility rules, and compensation grades
  • Maintain leave of absence plans and time entry templates
  • Optimize the candidate experience through business process configuration

Requirements

  • 6-7 years of functional/technical experience with several of the following Workday HCM modules required: Security, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Absence, Core HCM, Recruiting, Time Tracking and Prism Analytics
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, similar major, or equivalent business experience
  • Deep expertise in Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) and Payroll business processes, with a strong preference for experience within the retail industry
  • Proven experience in the full Workday implementation lifecycle
  • Proactive ability to identify system gaps or potential processing bottlenecks
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • High degree of organizational skill and attention to detail
  • Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft 365 Suite, specifically utilizing Excel and PowerPoint
