About the role
- Assist patients in selecting eyeglass frames, lenses, and coatings
- Ensure lab technicians have accurate measurements and prescription information
- Dispense completed glasses to patients
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions
- Process payment transactions/refunds using in-house POS system
- Assess and interpret patient needs based on prescription, facial features, and lifestyle
- Take necessary measurements like pupillary distance
- Prepare work order for lab with all pertinent information
- Adjust completed glasses to fit patients
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience working in retail, customer service, or sales
- Experience working in the optical industry is preferred
