About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Evaluate and enhance clients’ businesses, focusing on risks arising from technology developments and changes in business and operational processes
- Provide guidance and knowledge on complex, judgmental, and specialized technology risk issues
- Participate in performing Digital Risk-related procedures
- Demonstrate understanding of emerging technologies, complex information systems, and clients’ businesses and industries
- Maintain and enhance relationships with client management
- Manage engagement expectations, successful closure, and timely collections
- Advise clients on Digital Risk matters
- Work with EY account teams and partners on business development activities across sectors
- Build strong client relationships and become a trusted advisor
- Manage projects and inspire teamwork and accountability
- Use current technology and tools to improve work products and services
- Coach and develop teams and colleagues
- Identify and manage business development opportunities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven track record of success in the MENA/GCC region with key clients and industry sectors
- A master’s degree in computer science, information systems or a related discipline; alternatively, a degree in business, accounting, or finance with additional IT qualifications
- 12–15 years of relevant experience working as an IT risk consultant for a professional services or public accounting firm, or as a senior executive in a technology, financial services, or telecom company, or comparable IT/IS expert experience
- Relevant experience in areas including Digital Risk Management, Business Continuity Management, IT Disaster Recovery Management, Crisis Management, Third Party Risk Management, Technology Compliance Management, Technology Asset Management, Mobile Technology, emerging technologies, ERP controls, technical controls management, data analytics, IT/business process and controls management, IT/IS internal audit, and/or third-party reporting
- Strong project management, team management, and client service skills
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Willingness to travel to meet client needs
- CISA, CBCP, CISSP, IRM, CISM, and/or CIA certification is stated as essential for long-term growth; other relevant certifications, credentials, or experience may be acceptable
